Quick overview of services
Lantern Edit
A creative-focused edit where we shine a light on the things we love, areas that need a little polish, and spots or aspects we think could be cut, in order to help illuminate focus for further revisions.
Partial Manuscript Critique
This is our deep dive edit as best as we can do with the first 50 pages of your story.
Deep Dive Edit
A full manuscript critique where we weigh in on both creative aspects of your manuscript (plot, setting, characters, etc) as well as sentence structure, clarity, tone/voice, and more! We'll also note any copy edit/proofreading errors we see.
Polish Proofreading Pass
This is our catch-all edit with respect to spelling, confusion, grammar, punctuation, and other general typos or formatting issues. A final polish of all your pretty words to make them shine.

How it works
You choose a
service and
contact the
editor you'd like to work with.
You and the editor discuss initial questions and project dates.
You sign a freelance contract and pay 50% up front to reserve your spot.
Email your editor your manuscript before or on the agreed upon start date.
Once finished, the editor will reach out and let you know she's done.
You pay the remaining 50% balance, and the editor sends you all the goods!
Follow-up meetings will be scheduled if your service includes them.
**Please note that hiring an editor does not guarantee you an agent, a publishing contract, or future sales.**
